Your fundraising appeal is, hopefully, out the door. Email messages are being sent to support your mailing. And, it’s likely, you’ve got some social media posts to add to the mix. With fingers crossed, you’re hoping for the best to meet or even exceed your fundraising goal.
Gifts are coming in online and through the mail. Facebook friends are spontaneously raising money for your organization. I invite, no strongly recommend, you pay attention to your donors. People’s lives depend on it.
Rarely do I use this blog to highlight services from others. It takes something that excites me and I feel will make a difference for others. The opportunity to make change with my change was something I couldn’t resist sharing.
Stories are your friend. A great story versus a so-so or ho hum story can make the difference between keeping your donors and volunteers connected and losing them to the next good cause.
