Boldness, clarity and wisdom for fundraising professionals
I share these stories to help me and all of us listen, educate ourselves, and stand in solidarity with these and all Black women fundraisers.
With no children of my own, I often think about what my legacy will be when I die. I’ve realized, especially right now, that YOU are my legacy.
It is people like you who do the hard work and implement actions I recommend. You are carrying on the legacy of helping others do more, do better, and have all the money you need to do your important work.
What is Storytelling?
Sharing moments, about real people, that paint a picture of your mission.

Make your story about one person: Stories told in a way that connects listeners or readers to a single person is what allows others to see themselves in your story AND your mission.
