At the heart of this highly-interactive, high-energy session is the mindset that fundraising must include ease and fun. Facilitated by an in-the-trenches development director & improv actor and a fundraising coach, participants will learn 5 tools of improvisational theater and be shown how to adapt them for use in individual donor fundraising, especially major gift asks.
Attendees will be invited to practice the tools of:
1. Yes. And…
2. Listening to Learn More
3. Be Yourself
4. Define Expectations
5. Practice Instills Confidence.

Attendees will leave having learned and practiced how to:
• Gain confidence for handling the unknown
• Welcome donor meetings as an opportunity to use their new skills
• Have fun with the critical practice component of making a donor “ask”
