You’ve got a picture, a few facts about the person in the picture, and you’ve got your story.
Unfortunately, that’s not enough to get people to stay giving. While sharing a story about your impact IS important, often what you might call a story is actually a report.
This session will take a deep dive into the topic of sharing “mission moment” stories AND talking about money as fundraising strategies.
You’ll learn WHY the most powerful way to connect people to your mission is by telling a story that causes your listeners and readers to feel something, and you’ll learn how to move from sharing reports to engaging, action-causing stories.
The best part of this session is you’ll learn how to use Lori’s secret sauce that makes this an Advanced Master Class.
You’ll Leave Having:
• Learned how to engage your team in finding great stories
• Identified what questions to ask, who to ask, and where to gather nuggets of information to craft into a powerful and engaging story
• Practiced and received coaching on at least one mission moment story
